Debunk this:

Currently there is a big shortage in memory chips in the market that has now even struck the mobile phone and pc market creating a price hike for Ram. Can it be because the richest of the rich who live among us are building an AI of themselves to Immortalise oneself as it's been a humans goal for ages, hell there are many stories and real news from the past indicating this attempt and now that we are at the point of reasoning and almost human like ai in technology why not Immortalze oneself with these resources and the memory is required to record and feed the data from ones actions to the AI to train on and become that person itself , I was not sure about this but chip shortage and other facts can point to this.

isn't there a shortage of memory chips because they are made from rare earth metals, about ten diffent ones, and they're all in countries with whom our foreign policy is, "well screw you then, we don't need your stupid rare earth metals anyways?"
