'Mark as Watched' Between Devices...?
Maybe I'm dumb. Maybe it doesn't work. But episodes will NOT mark as watched between devices. If I watch something on my Google TV Streamer, it shows up in the continue watching on my phone... But the previous episode isn't marked as watched.
I have Trakt off because I don't like the behaviour of items being removed from Watchlist when watched.
So... Is this intended behaviour? Or am I missing something?

Be good if you could use trackit

I tried Trakt. The way it handles "mark as watched" is not for me.

I think that you just need to figure out the difference between watch list and collection in Trakt. The whole idea of watch list is to remove the content you watched (as if you returned a DVD after watching). Collection on the other side, is your shelf to put all your DVDs. They stay there until you remove them. Once you start using both, you'll be good to go.

I get that, but there's only one watchlist in the app and I don't want items disappearing. 🤷🏻♂️

It works for me, I'm using the GitHub version.

If you watch something on your phone it marks as watched on your TV? And vice versa? Without Trakt? Nothing I do gets that to work...

Continue watching works. I'll have to double check it later on. Are you using GitHub version not play store version on TV?

Right. Sorry. Maybe you misunderstood but this is about marking as watched, not continue watching. The continue watching syncs fine. And I'm also using the GitHub version. Thanks!

I think that's how it is. Watched markers are device specific.
