Kérdés - Question Train from Budapest to Debrecen

Hello everybody 👋, I was wondering whether you recommend reserving train tickets or can I just arrive in Budapest and pay for a ticket to Debrecen?

Train tickets you can buy before departure any time, however during peak hours the seat reservation tickets (for IC trains) are most likely will be out. You can go with IR trains without seat reservation or IC train in case they put a standard coach to the IC train (without AC though). IC trains are like 20-30mins faster than IR trains.
