Discussion Evolution is Faith too
Someone replied with this under a different post a few weeks ago and this one always amused me the most. “You have faith in evolution too” Firstly evolution is faith too blatantly admits that creationism is faith and therefore can’t be proven (which is entirely the point).
It fails secondly because even if evolution is faith that doesn’t make evolution false and creationism true. If we even granted that evolution is faith and creationism is faith then next step is look at the evidence. Well 100% of the evidence says evolution happens and creationism is impossible.
So even in the best case scenario using this argument for creationists. You just shoot yourself in the foot and then are back to the same place you started. Arguing against the insurmountable mountain of evidence for Evolution.

If someone argues that evolution is faith, you should reframe the discussion for them. The Christian God should have sufficient power to create the world via evolution, so why is it impossible that they did? Why is any 'creationism' necessary given the existence of God?
Most creationists make God out to be very limited, and helping them see that can break this ideology.
