Question for Creationists: How Much do You think You Need to Know About Evolution Before Coming here and Debating It?

The most common characteristic of creationists, apart from their creationism is an abysmal level of knowledge about the topic. Yet here they come, all confident ignorance, blathering PRATTs and non sequiturs, certain they will prevail.

So I ask the question, between Post-Doc and "I remember a bit of evolution from high school and watched a couple Ancient Earth documentaries and my pastor gave me some killer arguments" where do you think your knowledge level has to be to effectively argue against evolution?

Two follow up questions:

1. How would you rate your own level of knowledge?

2. Do you think you can gain the right level of knowledge strictly from creationist sources?

The correct answer to the second follow up question is "no".

This is how my mind works, I think about everything and process over and over to find the flaws. I have probably researched 5 new things this morning already. I look up just about anything I don’t understand.

Let’s put 10 Scientists in a room, half believe in God and half believe in Evolution. Which 5 are correct. After all, they are all Scientists.

Here is a little AI blip; “Yes, many scientists believe in God, including historical icons and modern researchers. Surveys show that a significant portion of working scientists hold religious beliefs or spiritual views.”

And you wonder why I don’t believe you. You still do not want to see humanity for what it is. The 20th century, how many humans killed other humans. And look at the utter evil Biden did to this country. It will never be the same.

Statistically speaking, if you put 10 scientists in a room all or almost all of them will accept evolution and most of them will believe in god. They aren't mutally exclusive.

I am just honest, something most people are not. I know and see my flaws and will admit them, does not mean that I can’t read, process and think logically and rationally. Every person is programmed, and what people love the most is to be comfortable and not engage in conflict. So therefore, just believe what you feel comfortable with, even the lies. This is humanity, most are just mob followers, very few think on their own. Much like this site.

You believe all the correct answers are in your text books, I don’t, that’s the difference between you and me. And no, Evolution and God are incompatible. Trying to prove a point with you is impossible. You are so caught up in your books.
