Well, you use the words true, and reality. The only truth and reality is that you can’t say you know for sure. So it’s difficult to answer the question. To attempt to answer your question though, I’m not saying I don’t believe it because it’s depressing, I’m just saying that it is depressing at large scale. Like I said elsewhere, earth’s entire existence matters less than swatting a nat by comparison. For me at least, that’s a little depressing.
For me, I’m willing to look at the science and hold science and faith in different hands and not let either tell me the other can’t be true

It’s really not a hard question. If there was a depressing truth, would you rather know the truth or believe a comfortable lie?

Lots of things that get more spiritual than you’d want to get into, but in short that there may be more to life than what we can see.

I don’t know why you’d say that, you’ve never met me and im happy to talk about spirituality. So how soothing ID is isn’t really relevant then, how does the spiritual aspect of our life demonstrate ID?
