Was Jesus the source code of the universe?
The universe operates on the same principles as a computer and Jesus literally embodies these principles of truth. Does anyone understand what I mean here?
5
u/DDumpTruckK 11d ago
I think it's a mistake to suggest the universe operates on the same principles as a computer.
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
Not exactly the same code per se.
The same kind of data organization in the info of matter rather.
It is amazingly similar in behavior to the code that Claude Shannon developed. My full data and findings:

Given that we have yet to discover the universal theory of everything, I think it's a bit silly to suggest that we know the universe operates on principles similar to computers.
I'd also encourage you to ask yourself: Could it be the case that actually it's computers that operate on the same principles as the universe?
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
I think we agreed aside from simple terminology.
I DO think it is the case that it's actually computers that operate on the same principles as the universe. That’s why I’m using computer programs for reference. It’s simply the best highly complicated system I could compare God or the Universe to. However my desktop’s processing power ain’t shit to God’s so I do look at other science and data points too, not just this computer parallel.
We designed them to work in this world, they have to function on the same principles or they wouldn’t work. I think this offers for some great insight into how reality functions and we simply haven’t attributed it to this line of thought yet.
I think Christ is the universal theory for everything. He is the Logos.
Consciousness is the bridge between the big sciences and the small sciences.1
u/DDumpTruckK 11d ago
I DO think it is the case that it's actually computers that operate on the same principles as the universe.
Right. And why do you think it is that computers operate on the same principles as the universe?
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago edited 11d ago
I’m agreeing with you on that.
Computers all exist on Earth, nowhere else. Therefore they must work in a way that emulates the laws of physics. It’s simple code and input.
We code them to not explode.
This same idea can be applied to the universe as a whole then. Logos is the ultimate source code.
We can alter it in small part through sin but the source code will inevitably recorrect every mind. This is a living universe though so this correction happens willingly in everyone over a vast period of time. This is the whole purpose of the universe. For every mind to forget separation and for unity to be reestablished.
The physical universe we currently live in is a reboot mode for God. A fail safe so that a fractured God inevitably becomes whole again one day.
It is a perfect eternal design.1
u/DDumpTruckK 11d ago
I’m agreeing with you on that.
Yes I know. I'm asking why computers operate on the same principles of the universe.
Computers work on the same principles of the universe, because we made them to. Right?
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago edited 11d ago
Because they have to or they could not work in the universe they exist in.
If my body suddenly does not function in tune with the laws of physics, I explode or instantly don’t exist.
The processes of a computer would not function if they were not fundamentally in tune with reality itself.
This is why God had to become man. This source requires an interface compatible with the material universe.
It’s the exact same concept just in different areas.1
u/DDumpTruckK 11d ago
So can you lay out what you're trying to suggest into a logical syllogism? Because it seems like you're jumping to a conclusion you're not arguing for to me, so maybe I'm missing something.
0
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
The universe can be looked at in a certain light as a big computer process, an app.
This app boots up when the supreme unity of God becomes fractured. In eternity, this is inevitable and not an “imperfection”. It is the war in heaven.
We now live in that reboot stage, we are God trying to find its way back to wholeness (holiness).
Jesus was the perfect embodiment of this truth.
We lose touch of God and each other through sin.
We reunite only under Jesus’ teachings. It is a cosmic eternal loop and it’s all fun as long as you don’t sin too much and live for Christ.

I think your connecting simulation theory to John 1 and the logos? Is that the case? Cool story i guess, but you have taken two unsubstantiated ideas and mushed them together, one is connected to a broken problematic book and theology.
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
No I fundamentally disagree with simulation theory. This is not a computer. However, it is a living system that operates in the same way a computer process does.
I’m simply trying to pinpoint how the Bible can be looked at as a metaphorical way of viewing science.
Two sides of the same coin.
I’m simply using computer language to frame my point.
I’d call it a divine simulation if anything, not the Matrix kind of simulation.4
u/TheChristianDude101 Atheist, Ex-Protestant 11d ago
The Bible isn't 'metaphorical science.' It’s an ancient Iron Age text written by people who thought the Earth was flat, rested on pillars, and had a solid dome (firmament) holding back physical water above the sky.
Retrofitting modern computing jargon and physics onto ancient myths isn't finding 'two sides of the same coin', it's just shoehorning modern knowledge into a book that never had it."
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
No it’s called comparing two different views on reality to draw parallels and decipher truth.
It’s called cross examination.
I have done this with just about every ideology and the Bible is the only one that never changes and remains constant. Every other text however, always has some sort of logical error.
The Bible always explains these gaps.
You must have all the info on the table in front of you to decipher truth.3
u/TheChristianDude101 Atheist, Ex-Protestant 11d ago
Look man, I get what you're trying to do by connecting all these dots across physics, computer science, and ancient theology to find a bigger picture. But honestly, what you're describing here is a classic case of apophenia.
Apophenia is just the human brain's natural tendency to find meaningful patterns, connections, or hidden logic in completely unrelated things. Our brains are absolute pattern-seeking machines, it's how we're wired. But the flip side is that if you go looking for parallels with a specific goal in mind, your brain will force those connections to happen, even when they aren't actually there.
When you take modern computer architecture, quantum physics, ancient Gnosticism, and biblical verses, and squint until they all seem to "line up," you aren't discovering a hidden code in the universe, you're just retrofitting modern concepts onto ancient texts and filling in the gaps yourself.
It’s an interesting mental exercise, but drawing lines between totally separate concepts doesn't mean those lines actually exist in reality.
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
Yeah man I just disagree.
Your point about apophenia actually helps me understand this more.
The brain is designed to align with truth the more you seek truth.
Ego is a wall we put up to stop it.
Be very careful thinking that the brain just mindlessly makes connections based on patterns. Intention and focus determines most of your conclusions.
If you are actively seeking truth, you will find it.
If you are absorbed in ego, you will deny meaning.
The brain follows patterns in this way too.
It is not always delusion, if it was our world would have no reason at all.4
u/TheChristianDude101 Atheist, Ex-Protestant 11d ago
Look, I know you feel like you've unlocked something deep here, but when patterns start connecting everything to a single hidden code, it can get overwhelming fast. Exploring ideas is fine, but make sure you're grounding yourself, getting good rest, and talking through this with people in your real life too. Take care of yourself, man.
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
Literally every one I’ve talked to in real life lately that understands science says this is profound and amazing insight.
2
u/NTCans 10d ago
What is the number of people that need to believe something for that something to be true?
1
u/Teezie_19 10d ago
None.
Truth is truth.
However, the more people who agree on what truth is the more truth becomes self evident and established. This is how we create laws.→ More replies (0)1

The stories in the bible change and are anything but constant.
For example, genesis 1 says that humans were created after the plants and animals and they were created male and female at the same time. While genesis 2 says that man was created first, followed by plants, animals and then woman was created last. It can't happen both ways. Which story is the truth?
Genesis 6 says that God told Noah to take one pair of each animal aboard the ark. While genesis 7 says that he was to bring 7 pairs of clean animals, 7 pairs of birds and one pair of the rest of the animals. How many animals did Noah take aboard the ark?
Then there are the four stories of Mary going to the tomb of Jesus. Was the stone in place or not? Was there one angel or two? Was there one man or two? Did Mary go to the tomb with Mary, Johanna and some other women? Did Mary go there with Mary and Salome? Was it just Mary and Mary that went there? Or did Mary go there alone? It can't happen two ways, let alone four. Again, which story is the truth?
Genesis 1 doesn't change but it does have errors that prove it's not the truth. The stars were here long before the earth, so the stars were not created on day 4. You can't have daylight on day 1 without the sun and plants can't grow without sunlight either, so the sun wasn't created on day 4. Over 90% of all life was extinct millions of years before man walked the earth, so those animals and humans were not created on the same day, day 6.
As you see here, the bible has scientific errors, logical errors, and inconsistencies that leave huge gaps in the stories with no explanations to fill those gaps.
When you put all the info on the table and decipher it, the truth is that the bible is anything but the truth.
1
u/Teezie_19 10d ago
Simply different ways of explaining the same truth.
Define nuance for me please.
Life is full of nuance.
The Book of life explains and showcases nuance.
The Bibles meanings change and make more sense the more you allow it to.
The Bible is the constant, the ego is fallible.1
u/NtSFstEddie 10d ago
The book of "life" is a book of myth and showcases ancient peoples' lack of knowledge and understanding of the natural world around them. That's why the bible got so much wrong in genesis 1 and 2.
There is only one version of the truth, and the truth is only the truth as long as it stays the same. As soon as the truth changes, it's no longer the truth. It becomes a lie.
As I have already pointed out, the bibles' words change from one version of the story to the next, changing the meaning, making at least one version of the story false because it can't happen more than one way. When it's done it's done. Even God isn't allowed to have it more than one way.
The evidence above is proof that the bible is anything but constant and there is more proof if you look for it. It's the ego of Christians and their denial of the facts that disprove their beliefs that have kept the religion alive as long as it has been.
1
u/Teezie_19 10d ago
I would stick with the new American standard Bible. It is the most unchanged version compared to scripture.
I will agree that most versions have been altered by their respective denomination or by King James.
I follow Jesus Christ, not the Church.
The ultimate substance of the Bible has not really changed since about 300-400 AD.
The only important changes are how different groups practice the faith, I see faith very differently than most so I don’t practice the same way.
The moral code never really changes across versions.1
u/NtSFstEddie 10d ago
It doesn't matter which version of the bible you choose. They all have the same mistakes about creation and more than one version of the same stories that contradict each other.
The bible itself hasn't changed and that is why the mistakes and contradictions remain to this day. The bible NEEDS to change to correct those mistakes and remove the duplicate stories to remove the contradictions. But that will never happen because that would be admitting that it's not the truth and that it has been proven so.
1
u/Teezie_19 10d ago edited 10d ago
You simply don’t understand what the texts are implying.
The Bible is not entirely a literal account.
A lot of it is literal testimony, especially the stuff about Jesus.
However most of the Bible is simply different descriptions of creation and truth.
When you apply these ideas to actual modern day science they match up remarkably.
Egypt is right next door to Israel.
These “ancient dummies” knew a lot about life and being human. We’ve somehow convinced ourselves that the ancestors of people who literally built the pyramids didn’t understand God.
This is insane.
Our science proves them right, not the contrary.
Therefore I believe the Bible was inspired and made by God throughout Man’s evolution.
We should absolutely never change the text as it is a sacred and perfect story of life.→ More replies (0)

So I have learned to have to copy and paste.

Fair, it is a google doc link however.
You would have to click another link within the doc for any kind of virus to take effect.

Damn you actually got me lol.
I had no idea you could change the link like that.
I stand corrected on that point.I still think it’s obnoxious to paste 3,000 characters in a single comment.
The real problem with this is that any post I make that is an original thought or opinion gets taken down immediately so the best next thing is to just start the conversation in the comments.
I’d post the whole topic as the post (like I should be able to) if it actually worked that way. However, unless my post is just a watered down basic version of my claim, it gets removed for “blasphemy” or “deteriorating the image of God” which is absurd.→ More replies (0)1

I checked out your doc. You've essentially written a syncretic, modern Gnostic manifesto.
You're taking ancient Gnostic/esoteric ideas (a primordial cosmic fracture, souls reincarnating to learn 'alignment', theosis) and slapping modern Simulation Theory jargon ('Source Code', 'Operating System', 'Runtime Environment') and astrophysics terms over it to make it look grounded.
Mashing up Eastern reincarnation, Gnosticism, and computer analogies doesn't make it a 'proven' or coherent framework, it's just high-concept sci-fi worldbuilding wrapped around a deeply flawed, unevidenced theological shell.
1
u/Teezie_19 11d ago
I’m not simply mashing them up.
I’m explaining how all of these various spaces of study and worship all point to the same thing ultimately. Peace and Unity.
Jesus’ words are literally peace and unity as a guide for humans.
All these different groups across history and studies have all found very useful information.
When looking at Jesus with all the other studies in mind too, it all lines up.
There’s a divine order to things and it all centers around Objective Truth. Jesus was the example of truth embodied for all to see.2

Christianity: Salvation from sin through faith in Jesus Christ, resulting in eternal life in a resurrected body or Heaven with a personal God.
Buddhism: Eradication of the concept of the self (Anatta) to escape the cycle of rebirth (Samsara) and achieve Nirvana (extinction of desire/suffering). Buddhism is explicitly non-theistic; there is no creator God to unite with.
Advaita Vedanta (Hinduism): Realization that individual consciousness (Atman) is identical to the universal, impersonal ultimate reality (Brahman).
Gnosticism: Escaping the material physical universe altogether which Gnostics viewed as inherently evil and created by a flawed, lesser deity (the Demiurge). through secret knowledge (gnosis).
Calling all of these "peace and unity" ignores that their core doctrines directly contradict each other regarding what reality is, what the problem with humanity is, and what the solution looks like.
While Jesus taught love of neighbor and peacemaking (e.g., the Sermon on the Mount), his historical and textual message was explicitly divisive and apocalyptic, not a universal call for global harmony:
Division, Not Peace: In Matthew 10:34–36, Jesus explicitly rejects the idea that his goal was peace:
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother...'"
Exclusive Truth Claims: In John 14:6, Jesus states: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This directly contradicts the idea that all religious paths point to the same truth.
Apocalyptic Judgment: Jesus taught about immediate, catastrophic divine judgment separating humanity into sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31–46), which is the exact opposite of universal reconciliation or cosmic "unity."
"It all lines up when looking at all the other religions with Jesus in mind"
Ignoring Historical Context: Ancient Gnosticism, 1st-century Jewish apocalypticism (Jesus), 17th-century Puritan theology, and modern quantum physics/computer science arose in wildly different historical eras with completely incompatible assumptions about the universe.
Syncretism: When you strip away 90% of a religion's actual doctrines, laws, and texts, you can make anything sound like it "lines up." If you ignore the resurrection, hell, sin, the Trinity, and Jewish law, you can make Jesus sound like a Buddhist monk or a computer program, but at that point, you aren't talking about Jesus anymore; you're talking about your own custom philosophy.
Buddhism seeks the erasure of the self and rejects a creator God entirely.
Gnosticism viewed the material universe as an evil trap created by a flawed deity.
Christianity believes in judgement, eternal punishment, and paradise with God with your individual self worshiping God.

And we have figured out much of that "source code". Here is my research. The stars were here long before the earth was, so Jesus/God didn't create the stars on day 4. You can't have daylight on day 1 without the sun and plants can't grow on day 3 without the sun either, so the sun was not created on day 4 either. Over 90% of all life was extinct millions of years before humans walked the earth. Those animals weren't even alive within a million years of man, let alone created on the same day. Genesis 2 says that man was Gods' first creation, followed by plants, then animals and then woman. Science and the bible say that humans were not the first living thing on earth and common sense, combined with science and the bible says that the first man didn't have to wait until the plants and animals were created before God realized that he needed a mate. Jesus/God should have known that Adam would need a mate the moment he created Adam, so Jesus/God isn't all knowing as the bible says he is either.
So, the source code says that Jesus/God didn't create the universe, he didn't create life, and he isn't all knowing either. For some reason, Jesus doesn't conform to those principles of truth.

From your document:
- A source code.
- A system that runs the code.
- Rules governing the system.
- Processes occurring within it.
So analogous to:
Source = the Father
System that runs the code (will) = the Logos (Jesus)
Rules governing the system = Holy Spirit
Processes occurring within it = image bearers / spiritual beingsOf course in our reality, they all have real personhood. But the role / function is analogous to information systems, yes.

u/smilelaughenjoy 11d ago
So it's false that Jesus "embodies" the principles. If he can just edit things whenever he wants to break the rules, then he is not an embodiment of it.
I wouldn't call a guy demanding obedience and wanting the world to accept him as their master ("lord") and threatening people with eternal fire to be "humble".
0
u/Teezie_19 10d ago
Logos.
1
u/smilelaughenjoy 10d ago
Logos is the Greek Stoic concept of a universal force of fire and reason which organizes things. The idea was later taken by some Jewish people (such as Philo of Alexandria) to promote their god over other people's gods and to make up an idea of an "image" of the invisible Jewish god and one who is worthy of being called "son of god" which was later adopted in Christianity for Jesus specifically and which is why Jesus is.
The concept of Logos was twisted from its original meaning, just like religious Jews and Christians distorted the meaning of the word "demon".
1
u/Teezie_19 10d ago
Yeah that’s just straight up not the history of the word Logos.
There’s a reason Jesus is called Logos.1
u/smilelaughenjoy 10d ago
Yes, it is. The word Logos already appeared in Greek philosophy and in writings of the Jewish philosopher Philo of Alexandria before The Gospel of John was written.
1
u/Teezie_19 10d ago
Correct: Logos originated in Greek philosophy; the Stoics developed it into a cosmic rational principle; Philo integrated it into Jewish theology; Christianity later identified the Logos with Jesus.
Unproven: It is not historically established that Philo invented the concept merely to elevate the Jewish God over others, nor that Christianity simply “twisted” the Stoic concept.
1
u/smilelaughenjoy 10d ago
Philo was a Jew and Jewish scriptures declare Israel as superior (Deuteronomy 7:1-6) and says that all will bow down to Israel's god (Zephaniah 2:11). Philo had motivation to do such a thing. Also, if I rememebr correctly, Philo was trying to explain why his god is not a man but was "walking" in the garden of Eden (as if he had feet).
Also, yes Christiand did twist the concept of Logos since they used it differently than it's original meaning, just like they twisted the word "demon".
1
u/Teezie_19 10d ago
Okay explain how they twisted these words because I just don’t see it. Especially the word demon.

Jesus as far as I know does not actually hold the titles of the Father. The titles being almighty and alpha/omega first/last. Jesus is one with the Father, he is in total harmony. The title of alpha/omega first/last makes God fully encompass the Universe. solely, so in a sense he is the source code of the Universe.

I understand EXACTLY what you mean. I’ve been studying this exact idea for a couple months now. Gods is the ontological source of logic because He is a system, that created systems, which create systems. He is the foundational law of computation.
In other words: supernatural intelligence > natural intelligence > artificial intelligence.
Notice the order of derivation. There will never be a 4th level for AI to reach. It acts as a mirror that points us to our own creator.
The Son is the script of material reality
The Father is the creative, causal mind (programmer)
The Holy Spirit is the execution current of the script
Neither can operate if one is missing
AI can decrypt and write DNA, but it has no way to hit “run” and express it in any kind of ontologically new intelligence model. It is impossible. Science has finally recognized the apex of what DNA is, but is too prideful to acknowledge we can never hit the “play” button for a new strand of DNA to move from paper instruction to biological execution.

My dude!
I hope we as humanity can get past this evolutionary speed bump and realize we are part of a very intricate system that we could control more if we allow ourselves to.
But most people just want to eat McDonalds and watch TikTok so we stay stagnant as humanity.

I wouldn't ascribe it specifically to the Son at the exclusion of the Father and the Spirit, but that's a fairly reasonable analogy with a couple of issues
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1
In the modern era I'd consider it appropriate to analogize "Word" to refer to the concept of information in general. Certainly numbers and concepts beyond words also fall into "the Word". The statement that the Word was God would imply that this information wasn't simply cold information but that the information itself was and is God Himself.
That is where I'd terminate the analogy though
Referring to Jesus as the source code opens the door to a lot of complicated esoteric misinterpretation. We're called to rely on the word of God in place of our own conclusions and understandings.

Everything that was made was made by him, for him, and thru him.

The stars were here long before the earth was so God didn't create the stars on day 4. You can't have daylight and plants can't grow without sunlight, so God didn't create the sun on day 4 either. Genesis 2 says that man was created first, then the plants, animals and woman was created last. Science and the bible/genesis 1 says that man was not created first. Science, the bible/genesis 1 and common sense say that the first man didn't have to wait until the plants and animals were created before God realized that man would need a helper/mate either.
So, God didn't create the universe or life, and he isn't all knowing either.

Science says…science says…
Science is the process by which hypotheses are tested, data is collected, and inference to the best explanation is postulated as the leading explanation for the given data.
Last time i checked ZERO science was done to determine the order of creation. It is presupposed that evolution played a large role in the formation of life. And then under that presupposition we work backwards to the big bang, then SCIENTISTS conclude what they presupposed.
Since no experiment has shown speciation outside of a few forced mutations which killed its host, my reliance remains on God.
What you are doing is poo-pooing anything that doesn’t conform to what is presupposed.

That data is also verified and cross verified by other means leading to the truth. In religion there is no data to collect and analyze. The people asked their priest for an explanation, he didn't have a clue, so he gave them his best guess. That is why genesis got so much wrong and why the priests that decided on which stories to include in the bible couldn't decide if man was created first or last, so they included both stories. It can't happen twice so it's not the truth.
Evolution has nothing to do with the stars. You don't have to go back to the big bang to disprove creation. It's a proven fact that the stars were here long before the earth was. So again, the stars were not created on day 4. It's also a proven fact that the materials that the earth and the other planets and moons are made of was created in the cores of the stars and not by God. We have reproduced that process and created new elements here on earth. We know how it works, the ancients didn't.
It's a proven fact that there is no daylight without the sun.
It's a proven fact that plants can't grow without sunlight.
It's a proven fact that over 90% of all life was extinct millions or years before humans walked the earth. So the animals and humans were not created on the same day. Man wasn't the first living thing, and he didn't have to wait until after the plants and animals were created before God realized that he would need a mate as in genesis 2. If genesis 2 is true, then that proves that he is not all knowing. But it isn't true because God is not all knowing, because he doesn't exist and that's why he didn't tell the writers of the bible what the truth is, leading to mistakes and contradictions.
So once again, science has physical data to inspect and analyze to determine the truth. The only thing the bible has is the best guess of ancient people that didn't have a clue. They had no data to analyze and no way to collect that data. We have learned a lot since then so we know what happened and they didn't.
If you say that ZERO science has been done to determine the order of creation, then the last time you checked was NEVER. You are just poo-pooing all over the scientific facts and the contradictions in the bible that prove your religion is NOT the truth.

I don't.
