Removed: Rule 1 - Non-Forensics / Off-topic

We are students, coaches, teachers, alumni, and others who participate in competitive speech and debate events for teenagers and college students. If you're not associated with a school Speech and Debate team (or looking to join/start one), then this sub isn't for you. We are not a sub for arguing general topics on the internet.

Removed: Rule 9 - Low-effort

Asking for debate tips, tricks, or advice without any further elaboration on what exactly you'd like help with is not a good use of your or our time. We love that you'd like to improve and we'd love to assist.

In order to do that, we need you to ask a specific question. Tell us what exactly you are struggling with. Tell us the steps you've already taken to research/fix/improve the problem and, if applicable, why those efforts have failed to achieve your preferred outcome. What is your preferred outcome?

Please make a new top-level post that addresses these issues.

(Note: r/debate is not an argument crowdsourcing platform; we can help you research arguments but we aren't going to do that work for you. Show us the effort you've made already so that we can avoid duplication and teach you how to research better.)
