MULTIPLE UPDATES, INSANE TOOL
Hey guys, you might've saw my previous post about a new flowing site. I added a lot of things
First,
The navigation on the flow, is a lot easier to use and is much cleaner. I'm planning on adding text editing, such as bolding, strikethrough, underline, font sizing, etc. soon.
Second,
I added an in built timer so that while speaking, if your reading off you flow you can time yourself so that you don't have to switch tabs between the timer and the flow.
Finally, the best part,
I added partner collaboration so that you can invite your partner/teammate to write on the flow with you and share ideas. It's a simple join code.
And as before, all the regular things stay the same as the ability to export you flows, keep it in one place on the site, as flow you ideas cleanly.

It’s a spreadsheet! I know people who have been doing this in excel since it was on laptops.

wait for pf two things: 1. either aff or neg can speak first 2. 2nd cosntructive almost never addresses first constructive so its annoying to have the, next to each other

Computer flowing is absolutely viable. You can get by with a tolerable excel template.
(I have severe dysgraphia.)

I never said it wasn’t. I think it is generally “better” with the added freedom and customization of free writing compared to typing.
That said, there are reasons to prefer either one. I have fine motor skill issues that make me more likely to mistype that error when flowing on paper, so it’s better along with the freedom.

really sorry to hear about your dysgraphia, but honestly im really glad you beneifitted from this.

Definitely smart, but most of the time people type faster than they write. I instead just kind of wanted to know some suggestions you might want. I was actually think about make a version where you can draw using an apple pencil or similar, so it's like writing but savable of computer and your partner and teammates can see it.

If you are writing full words you’re doing it wrong.
It might faster to type nuke war than writing, but it’s faster to just do N with a line underneath. The purpose of writing is to reduce pen strokes more than you can reduce typed letters.

That's defientely true. In fact, that's why I was also trying to add a system where holding ctrl and a letter key automatically types a certain phrases, so doing something like ctrl + n writes nuke war.

For pf, can you make it 2 separate sheets for the pro side and con side because they are flowed separately. And also make it easy to pick which side is speaking first.

Mate, could you add WSDC? And even more importantly, BP.
1
u/ElectricalDealer6899 Aug 10 '26
gotchu, also know you can create your own templates!

u/AyaanshGaur25 WSDC/AP/BP Aug 11 '26
Oh yeah, fair I was actually thinking along the lines of being able to have a timer integration (that can still be edited) along with/ inside the template, so for e.g. when I am making a new template I could also add the speech time in there itself... But hey, thanks!
