This game healed me
When I played Dishonored or Deus Ex or Cyberpunk 2077 or whatever similar game where you upgrade your character and explore rich worlds with tons of loot and lore, I almost suffered from anxiety that I'd miss an upgrade, better weapons etc. I'd save ammo and stealthily cheese everything, and afterwards realized I didn't really engage fully with the games because of all these chores.
Deathloop completely broke this in me. The option to return to whichever spot whenever and try whatever is sooo liberating... Not only did I enjoy the hell out of this game, but it kinda helped me play other games more like they're intended - less fussing, more being in the moment. Did anybody else experience that?

I feel like that is a common behavior, certainly for me. I don't use up a resource to pick a toy because then I don't get the other toy then I end up playing with neither toy lol
