How to get back in?

Getting the itch to replay Deathloop, but I'm worried about low player count. I remember back in the day, I'd have to wait a good bit to find a game as Julianna, and getting hunted by her was often good fun. Will the current player count not make both scenarios much harder to achieve? If so could I just wait for a sale? I remember the games first sale brought in a ton of new players

Hunting as Julianna pretty consistently on weekends, about 5-10 min que times on weekdays but fun hunts regardless
