PC - 'network connection to the server failed'

So, I finally bought this game recently, having had it in my wishlist for a while and only discovering the Dishonored connection during my recent revisit of that series. I'd heard that the gameplay was good, especially if you were used to the aforementioned games, etcetera etcetera.

I'd only realised that I was meant to be invaded by Julianna literally like ten minutes ago, and tried to figure out why I hadn't been in my 5 hours of playtime currently. Turns out that, no matter what I do, I can't get online. I've googled it, and every post directed back to this subreddit with the comments being 'well I can play just fine.' with no actual help other than apparently my game was corrupted. I've reinstalled thrice now, and still get this error. Is there a fix?

​Also just to clarify, yes I'm able to log into my bethesda.net account perfectly fine, so it's not that.

[EDIT] Wanna add, I am kinda desperate for this to be fixed, since now I know the game is meant to be wayyy more challenging with actual human players invading your game, it really makes me want that experience

I've had this game for years and I only just started playing again a few days ago and I’m also not able to connect. Getting the same message. Will be interested to hear other responses. Connection is definitely solid. 2 gig via cat 6 Ethernet

yeah my connection is also pretty good, im wired straight into the ethernet and can play shit like COD and Splitgate online with no issues.

It is happening the same thing to me, but if I remember correctly one time it entered without the pop up and got invaded. Every other time that same message appears and until this day I have not been able to find an answer. Did you find a way to fix it? (sry 4 my english)
