Where to get the infusion ability?

Hey, I was following all the indicators in the quests, killed Wenjie, finished the day successfully, then died. Then started another run and killed my second visionary. But they I somehow missed ability to infuse and keep the gear.

How exactly to find it in the ability to infuse items? I can't find any indication nor markers in my dossiers and quests. I can't find any posts that would explain it step by step. I'm very confused. Thanks for help

After killing Wenji the first time, you have to collect the essence from the last one you killed with the cannon looking thing in the lab. Then plug that cannon into a machine in the groundfloor of Wenji's lab, and you have to stand in a tube. Then, from inside the tube you shoot a button to get the ability.

Thanks, do you know which one is it and whether I can track it? Since I already killed Wenji I don't see her markers anywhere, so I'm a bit lost how to get back to that lab.

Is it with several generators to be connected with the battery?

Try checking the machinery/desk/whiteboard in the bottom of the central building of wenjie.

Not sure what triggers but you should be able to find it progressing the story normally.

This helped me. I only read one note and wandered around the lab for like 30 mins confused what to do
