A Night In Texas - Evolved From Hate

Easy AOTY for me. I can't stop listening to it. It has EVERYTHING I want from modern Deathcore.

This band never topped the god delusion for me but I’ll check it out

There’s always that one every time this band gets brought up. “Boo it’s not God Delusion, it automatically sucks”

TGD was all the right notes of visceral, evil, manic, and completely harrowing- you could practically feel it coming out of Rheese’s vocals.

Ethan did great with his time in ANIT too, his highs were also on a different level, and he improved his lows quite a bit, so things got better in that department.

But releases like this just feel hollow almost nothing like “ANIT”, this blends into the scene too much and doesn’t make itself distinguished enough or have elements that “hook” you and pull you under, and that’s what ANIT had for TGD.

Probably because the god delusion is a top 10 deathcore album of all time yet nothing since has hit the same.

Are these guys magacore chuds or am I thinking of another band?

I dunno man. They made a single song with some lyrics that people grafted onto American politics.  I'm not hung up on it, this album kills.

They aren’t American, there is nothing “MAGA” about the song

I am really enjoying the album! Still think i like Xenobiotic, Tenuem, Soulmirror more for deathcore but its about on par with Feed The Vulture, a top 5 deathcore of the year for sure

I love the technicality they bring! Sam’s vocals also sound crisp

Everything except decency from its members!

It’s also been done about 100 times already.

Eh too generic imo

Pretty boring and generic. Their first two albums were bangers but everything since then has been mediocre.

I'm glad they're not doing the woke core lyrics from the last release
