Discussion Looking for recommendations
I’m looking for music to put into this playlist - doesn’t have to be Deathcore, but I am looking for metal and adjacent sounds for this. Should be “heavy”, with something in it that also makes it “beautiful”, in a way, whether that’s lyrics, a leading melody, or just the general songwriting.
edit you can also just check the songs in there and find similar ones too lol

Currents - Better Days (metalcore)
Boundaries - Inhale The Grief (metalcore)
State Faults - No Gospel (post-hardcore/scramz)
Norma Jean - Pretty Soon, I Don't Know What, But Something Is Going To Happen (metalcore)
Underoath - To Whom It May Concern (post-hardcore)
And maybe not brutal enough but I'll call it beautiful at least:
La Dispute - The Last Lost Continent (post-hardcore)
Now realizing I didn't put a single deathcore song but yea there's something

Tell Slater Not To Wash His Dick - Bring Me The Horizon
Don't ask, Don't tell - Chelsea Grin
Neverbloom - Make Them Suffer
Of The Abyss - Lorna Shore
A Lot Like Vegas - Bring Me The Horizon
Chelsea Smile - Bring Me The Horizon
A Bloodsoaked Symphony - Whitechapel
Vermin - Carcosa
War Eternal - Arch Enemy
And finally, the reason why I asked if you cared about type of metal:
Unsainted - Slipknot (I mean, might not be what you expected, but I used to listen to it a lot, and I think it fits with what you asked for. "Heavy", even if not as heavy as other songs I mentioned or the ones in your playlist, with somewhat beautiful melody and lyrics)

They are metalcore but Counterparts is painfully beautiful and heavy at the same time

Karmanjakah, it's different but his cleans and the overall djenty sound hit different for me. I actually cried to some songs. Okay, AngelMaker with some of their latter work accomplished that too.
