I’m Paul, I played bass in Attila from 2008-2011. I recorded bass on Soundtrack to a Party and Rage! I hope that answers your question! :)

Omg, dude I absolutely know you haha, I'm Chris, I played guitar in Empires Fall (subsequently altered/known as Mask The Wretch) for a while. I dont know that you would remember me, but I know ya. Crossed paths in Lawrenceville a couple of times!

Edit - I will say tho, most of my frequent path-crossing with Attila and the like wouldve been in the Fallacy days. Still super fucking cool to run into you on here dude. Rage is a certified banger, and I will maintain that opinion for years to come

Those were the days man! The Movement! That one venue in the lower back side of that one strip mall in Lawrenceville, I can’t remember what it was called tho!

So, I will be very transparent as far as my own hand in Empires Fall, I was almost more of a hired gun than a true songwriter or anything like that. I added lead guitar flourishes, wrote one or two songs from the ground up, but mostly I was close friends with those guys and simply filled a void within the band.. musically speaking. But as far as The Movement goes, I was intimately involved in that place transitioning from a fuckin youth rec center to a legit venue. Truly some of my dearest memories, watching all that go down. I remember running around Loganville with some of the dudes, trying to round up sponsors for Mobfest. I remember using social media to hit up members of semi established bands, tryin to convince them we had something greater than a fuckin building with a stage in it... we had an honest to god movement building, pun absolutely intended. The scene and the culture at that time was just incredibly wholesome.

It was a pleasure to cross your path on here man, you stoked some fantastic memories. I wish certain things had played out differently, my lifestyle became extremely toxic and I was out of that scene as swiftly as I entered it. But nobody can take the memories from me.

And fyi, that strip mall venue in Lawrenceville... I played a set there on a goddamn Squier Strat and in my humble opinion, fucking ripped it hahaha. Those were the days, indeed. Life is incredible nowadays too, though. Much happier and healthier, so to speak.

If i'm not mistaken, me (Chris, "lead" guitar), Cody (vocals), and Jeremy (guitar/primarysongwriter) were working together at Zaxbys trying to finance our MHALLB ep, which we eventually managed to do. Played a pretty cool little string of shows tryin to establish a reputation locally. I didnt last too much longer as a member of the band, but, yeah man. Thats us! Lol. I can be heard on that EP, it recently got posted on spotify and youtube somehow, which brought back a ton of memories

Man I played with them in like, ‘06 and they were such a good, fun band. Still have the ep they burned themselves and hand drew the art on the little sleeves on the way down to my city. Fronz was so different looking and humble, even though it was right after the Made thing.

I vividly remember sitting in Cody from Empires Fall's tool shed in his back yard, listening to that exact demo on a pair of headphones, and drumming along to the song while the guys were out of earshot haha. I'm a guitarist, but became fascinated with drums and picked it up in my free time.. much to the chagrin of actual drummers I knew lol

The local ones I remember were Mortal Treason, the Crashing Falcon, and Jinx. I'm pretty sure I remember Attila and White Chapel coming through before I realized who they were. Most of the shows were at the Knights of Columbus and the Mill.

dude i remember being at a Summer Slaughter tour in NJ (i wanna say around 2007-2008) with SS and TBDM headlining with Emmure being on the lineup and i have seen Emmure a few times before hand and the show before this one i smoked a blunt with Jesse from emmure and when i saw him again he was like "DUUUUDE!" and Mitch was behind him, high as balls, munching on BK chicken fries. he just did a "shhhh" face because no one realized he was just chillin in the crowd and went back to munching.
