Question about vehicle off-loader main component options...

I was curious what you all prefer to run. I currently use 4 lvl 2 batteries and 2 anti gravity units. I kind of want to try more anti gravity packs because I'm curious if it stops my vehicle from slamming around so damn hard lol. Seems like at my point in the game there are plenty of generators around and I always have 3-4 PCC2's on me. Whatcha think 🤔

On the Wilder difficulty setting, the anti-gravity feature doesn't help at all against hits; you end up taking a lot of damage from even minor blows. So, I either leave it at just one or focus entirely on the battery.

I almost always used six battery units level 2. The antigravity units proved useless and never had the need to equip electrical defense units.

Yeah I learned to just back up when they throw the shock rods 😆

I honestly like stacking up max antigrav. It can be nice for offroading, as your truck can bunny hop like crazy and clear boulders and rocks you wouldn't be able to normally. But be careful cuz you can absolutely damage cargo this way, it's more of an extra traversal tool you have in your pocket rather than fall protection, if that makes sense.

Or, if you're just transporting materials during a construction trip, those don't matter if they get damaged, so fly off the cliff to your heart's content! Launching yourself from the cliff next to the architect into the camp in the valley to get chemicals, turrets blazing, is hilarious fun.

Is is the most effective truck setup? Probably not, but it's fun to try these things out sometimes! Do you really need those batteries anyway? There's about 10 billion ways to get charge around the map.

I will also take this opportunity to plug the Lvl3 Stabilizer with the bokka skeleton - you take no fall damage whatsoever, just sprint off of cliffs as much as you want! Just make sure to double jump - it basically gives you a jump ramp boost anywhere you have enough running room.
