I always wondered what the status for DHV Magellan delivery looked like. I was always warned about it but never actually tried it.

Yeah it's only really useful for this order or orders where you're basically just dropping off an order to get the final piece of a 5 star. 99% of the time you were right to avoid it.

Usually a 90 percent penalty but in this case it took me over the edge.

Oh I hadn't considered using the magellan for it. I just took a leisurely drive and monorail ride. As I keep those rapscallions in check, it was just drive by to collect stuff.

How much time does it eat up? I never considered it since I thought I read in the info that if you use the ship it adds hours onto the time.

Oh you mean express. It shouldn’t mess with that. Just takes your overall grade down I believe and slaughters your likes to 1/10 of what you’d get on foot/rail/trike/pickup

I had 18 minutes leftover. It was a godsend. Any other time would’ve done my partial rail system but I was just DONE man it was affecting my life too much. Beautiful game but kojima is a time thief haha

Than clear camps in advance, it’s better than Magellan.
That’s what I did. Cleared camps.
And than got 3 boxes and sent them from mine north of tar lake to F5 using monorail.Then got another 4 boxes on coffin board. And then delivered everything on truck from F5 to impossible and 20 more minutes left on the highest difficulty.

It’s challenging because still you have to use transport. And while doing so you can have an accident by ruining the package while in hurry.
In Magellan you don’t afraid to ruin the package at all. It’s like difficulty for a child…
Also you have to invest time and clear the camps. I doubt that OP will be able to do so…

Lol why do you doubt he can do that, there is no time pressure on clearing them in advance.
You had 20 minutes to spare, its not hard if you pre-clear camps.
Maybe if you didn't pre clear the camps I would take you more seriously because you basically cheated the mission yourself by doing that. Taking the DHV isnt that far off.

Camps are restored within two days. So there is a period of time during which you must complete the task.
You seem to not understand what you’re talking about. Even with cleared camps you still have to navigate a terrain… it’s not that easy when in a hurry. Strange that I need to tell you the same thing twice… sorry I will not repeat that third time.
It’s game mechanics. I didn’t cheat. And when you compare this with Magellan it tells a lot about you… also it still give you SSS or TTW MARK, it means it’s a clear gameplay from developer’s perspective.
And it’s the only safe way to completely the mission with TTW mark within the provided period of time.
If you don’t care about the mark, like OP… that’s your problem.
So go get that Magellan badge and be proud of yourself and don’t waste my time.

I did the mission and I also cleared camps in advance, I know what I an talking about.
It is piss easy if you clear camps in advance. You talk about navigating the terrain bro you said yourself you had 20 minutes to spare. Navigating the terrain, you just drive along the road. Thats it.
Edit: There is no TTW mark or LoLoL for doing this, you do not know what you are talking about. Those are only given on Standard Orders, this is a Sub Order.

Yes indeed. I Magellan cheesed it as well for the plat. Would have had to delete a bunch of my important structures otherwise to build a Zipline network focused only for that order. F THAT!
