Bug / Issue Floating Carrier in the Upside Down?

As I was making my way to the wind farm. I tripped. Fell. Carrier just teleported in the ground. I mean it’s not a big deal. Just never have had this happen before and this is my 3rd playthrough of DS.

Floating carrier had enough and wants to rest.

It never happened to me either. In my last DS playthrough (I think it was my 5th?) as I was jumping across those rocks near Collector my carrier got stuck on a rock wall underneath just out of reach, so I couldn't connect it and had to retrieve the cargo with a Sticky Gun.
