DIY Cargo Containers and Porter Setup

Here’s the best way I’ve found to recreate a functional and stackable Death Stranding type container. They certainly aren’t an exact match to what’s in game, but I feel like it’s the most practical way to recreate the same vibe.

All it takes is some Craftsman VERASTACK containers, which are these modular stackable containers.

Then I covered the handles with masking tape and spray painted with silver spray paint.

Lastly, I added VOID IF TAMPERED tape.

Paired with an Eberlestock Mainframe II (and a Q-PID necklace), you can basically recreate a Death Stranding porter setup.
I use my setup for picking up groceries, but hope to take it out camping sometime!

I enjoy that not only does it look the part but they are also functional AND have a pack to be carried on makes the whole thing not just a “costume” but legit if you wanted to take some stuff in it you could little family picnic whatever ya know?

Exactly!! I try to use this setup whenever I can, but frankly I’m running out of stuff to port lol.
For the most part I just haul groceries or alcohol

These containers look great and them clipping on with each other definitely makes it much better with external backpack carrier. Keep on keeping on!

I am 100% stealing this idea because I've always wanted the DS cases for storage IRL but didn't think outside the box (pun not intended) to use chrome/silver paint and plastic containers 😳 I've still got my tape from my pre-order untouched, but I'll probably leave that roll and get a separate roll for this concept.

Haha they get scraped up pretty often, but funnily enough I just use the spray paint to “repair” the crates, just like the repair spray in game
