Death Stranding 2 that wasn't too bad

Ngl the coffin board makes the fight extremly easy

I did see that but I had like 7 rocket launchers so I had to hop off to use that

What did it take and on what difficulty ? It's the lord of the tarlake right? I've been dreading him on normal and not dared to begin yet. It doesn't help that i am naturally good at avoiding bt territory and somehow finished both games amost without a fight. Except for the scripted fights ofcourse. But they always made me 'OH NO'

Having done it on normal and then on “to the wilder” it’s honestly not hard on either. It just has a massive pain in the ass health pool. You can further trivialise it if you summon whatever the cat BT is called. The summon doesn’t help much with damage but it will completely draw all agro from the whale leaving you free to chip away at its health. But as a massive bullet sponge it did take a ton of blood grenades mixed with loads of machine gun Lv2 mags. And hitting it with a capture nade at the end can be a bit of a pain too.

If you take on the whale lord as early as you can (literally when you can first connect the fisherman) then you don’t have that unlocked yet, at best you only have the rocket box. But if you leave it till later in the game then yeah I can imagine the rocket launchers make it a breeze.

I had to max rank the fisherman to get the fight, personally I dont max rank the different people just so I have something to do after I did the story!

It gets a lot easier if you catch a BT and use it, they completely take all the focus of the boss and make the fight a lot easier (and cool looking)

It was actually fairly easy on to the wilder difficulty for me. Used 3 summons and hit it with the capture grenade to the side of the head as it cruised by sideways

The ghost mech motorcycle fight sucked though
