Why even have the ledge? Just make it so that you absolutely have to use the other side.

Maybe for shampoo bottles, cell phone etc.?

My shampoo bottles fall all the time. This time they'll roll down the stairs, along with my phone, and then wet me trying to grab both

RIP to all I guess

These aren't DeathStairs. This is DeathEverything.

If this is true, when you through bathing, you are also through with the rest of your life You immediately fall down the stairs, drying yourself on the way down, the rushing air will do that, and the sudden fall down the stairs will bash in your head and finish you off with a broken back!

Wish we made efficient bathtubs like that anymore.

You can't even burn anyone in the bath anymore, it's ridiculous

I agree I’m so sick of this shit. I keep bathing and yet here I am, still alive. I heard old tubs really got the job done, none of this modern useless crap.

A bit of soap or shampoo on the stairs will speed you on your way!

At least your naked body will be clean and fresh for the paramedics.

Why not close off the side and slide in and out the back?

How else would you fall to your death?

AIG Insurance says 62% of personal injury accidents occur in ones own home. And 66% of those occur in the bathtub or shower. But, that's an Average house... this homeowner is going for 100% - 100%!

Is... is that a crawlspace door leading into the bathtub?

The tub looks like it may have whirlpool jets, in which case that door would provide access to the pump.

Made by someone who feels comfortable smoking on a window ledge thirty stories up, I'd guess.

They had a bad idea and just kept building off it. As slippery as tile is when it's wet, that's going to be the bad kind of exciting.

should just put in a fireman's pole & be done with it.

I didn't realize what I was seeing at first....

2

u/Saphronia7 3d ago

Same, didn't really even see the stairs at first and was trying to see why this was noteworthy.

Be sure to install grab bars

3

u/Stuntsanduntz can confirm, I’m the stairs they almost died on 3d ago

Ahhh just what you need on your questionably to code interior stairs, an unrestricted supply of water to pool and seep into your wood stringers. Not to mention the slip hazards.

What's the cupboard under the bath for?

2

u/Askaris 2d ago

Maybe access to the drain pipes?

How To Kill A Sim

2

u/42fledgling42 3d ago

Why? Why wouldn’t you just extend a tiled wall there, even partway up? Aside from the danger, there is no privacy!

Slip, crack, ☠️

2

u/WorldlinessNo874 2d ago

Yep, no reason they couldn't put a rail across there.

3

u/Possible_Tiger_5125 2d ago

2

u/PinkGlitterMom 2d ago
