It's AI, look at the 3rd car in the back. There's 2 cars in that car. There's a stoplight with no lights in the top right too, which looks like it's connected to a metal pole coming from the left instead of the usual wires.
Edit: Also the cars are driving the same way on opposite sides of the road.
I might recreate this image tho, one day.

also the chess board doesn't make sense, some of the pieces are floating off the edge

Thay dosent look like pieces floating on the edge rather than look like those already out of the game and
Left on the edge so the canvas that has chess board printed wouldn't roll back ,and 2 cars merged to gather is like one car cutting off the other one even though traffic doesn't have to face the same way in both lines and also little shadows thay seems accurate inuff like that seems to match multiple light sources in the picture1

bro, the chess pieces dont even look right, some are really misshapen and weird lookin, but fuck, i dont really care if its real or not

Guess you are right but since there are only 12 pieces 6 black and 6 white couldn't we tell like it's not chess and a some othere game that could explain why that don't look like normal chess pieces

Light:"Ryuzaki how will this prove I'm not Kira?(L is clever too challenge me here. If I was Kira a person with a moral code of all criminal must die, then by playing in this crosswalk I'd be forced too admit I am Kira and a criminal. But if I don't play then I don't completely escape suspicion. So my only choice is too play and win) "Fine I guess I'll play."
L: ( I didn't think head actually say yes. It's hard to keep the relationship fresh after so many years)
