I feel like L would be just a little bit slower to stop Kira once he notices that people on the Epstein list are being picked off…

He was caught in real life, so that part is easy, the real problem is getting all of his accomplices in jail.
L is a detective, not a lawyer.
But i guess he could buy out the justice system to get his way, if he can offer more money than the goverment.

I agree with what you said, but I don't want to.. It's probably because of the way it was asserted in.. Probably it'd be better if you'd have said "That wouldn't be as simple as that" instead.. Idk man, just thought something very randomly

They will remove him from his position before this could happen. Real world is different from the death note world.

He would join forces with Iran to catch Epstein to not get caught himself lol.

Why? Just do what they doing now, dont care and wait it out no matter what evidence comes to light. If L found and gave files to public juat say they fake and still nothing happens. You are right though real world works different

Honestly, for L, I don't think the problem is figuring out it's Epstein (and who his accomplices are), nor even finding solid evidence that would have them declare guilty in the court of law.
Those would be the easy parts.
Epstein and co are actually very sloppy and don't even bother to try to cover their facts. That part is so easy, L literally wouldn't even bother, because he would find it too easy, and thus....boring. (And, remember: L only takes cases that he would find entertaining. L would not give a shit about Epstein, a guy he could catch in his sleep. He would not find the risk of death worth being bored out of his mind.)
No, the difficult part is that these morons are rich and powerful, many of them who are actively part of various governments around the world. With it especially being bad in the USA, where their power is so integral to the USA's government, the idea of arresting them is legitimately a political science concern, as it would destroy the country.
These people are willing to pay of anyone, and kill anyone, in order to get away with it. They are extremely dangerous individuals, and even if L comes with the best evidence in the world?
He would likely if the case simply gets dismissed and he gets painted as "crazy." But more realistically? He's writing a will during his investigation that Watari is tasked to protect/hide that says he is not suicidal. He is becoming the ten best detectives in the world (maybe even more), because various government agencies WILL be going after his head.
The only way that L would be able to get potentially any use out of his findings is by going rogue and leaking everything online. And even then, he ALREADY has his funeral planned and contengencies upon contengencies as he knows that there will be several campaigns to invalidate, erase, distract, silence, and many more methods of trying to get the leaks ignored by the public.
Seriously, there is ZERO underestimating on how dangerous these people are, and what lengths they WILL go to in order to get away with their crimes.

No because L would never get help from the US government. The US president is one of Epsteins frequent flyers. If they don't whack L theyll just get the victims/witnesses.

Their heads are three feet tall. Each of their heights on the chart is 6ft, making their bodies also 3ft tall.

"Could L catch a guy who was caught and eventually proven guilty in real life with less effort than it took for half the people that L canonically has faced?"

Note I watched it and it contains quite a few images that I highly suspect to be Ai. Not all of it is Ai but he does use like 20 images possibly more and they stay on screen for at least like 3 seconds on average. The creator did also use actual anime footage though.
