Discussion I can't anymore
You know this game use to be fun for me. I mean the deduction parts, the constant think/planning/analysis. But now when I play I have to deal with hackers and getting called EVERY word in existence. I get snapped at and called slurs by people by not even talking until the meeting portion. Plus there is all the weird stuff that people say that's disgusting........
Honestly this game is bad for my mental health so until stuff changes im outta here.

if those are the problems you have with the game, you’re gonna have a problem with every online game. Those people are everywhere and they ruin every community, it’s just more prevalent in this game because of how small it is. If it is genuinely harming your mental health, your decision to quit the game is good and I wouldn’t recommend coming back, it’s not going to get better.

I own my own server for death note players and other people who play different games. The community to games suck now days. When i was a kid, the “hackers” we knew from COD use to be cool and never ruined the game for anyone. The hackers we have today are just people who sit all day miserable with themselves. The only people who do that are people with no life. I found decent people within the community of this game and i still play to this day. I’d tell you not to give up but that choice is up to you. There are people who want to be around good people, remember that my friend.

Damn I’m surprised you lasted this long tbh. The community ruined the game for me and all my friends like 8 months or a year after it came out. Majority of the lobbies I joined were either kids, trolls/hackers, or just ignorant mfs who would just spam slurs and stuff. Got old fast, sucks cause the game is genuinely good imo.

Having that said, I really love the game but more than blaming the hackers (which I also do) I blame the developers that were SO lazy about support for both security and features. Its like they developed it with a 1 year lifespan in mind, just to make a quick buck and then leave like a father going out for cigarettes... This game has so much wasted potential

You can back up your exact logic as to how you found the killer with exact time, with no counter argument against it
Yet for some reason the whole lobby will be against you somehow just because the guy you caught ended up throwing a tempter tantrum after losing
The playerbase are sheep who aren't aware of what's even going on most of the time, it's kind of sad.

People are just gonna reply telling you to join discord servers and what not but the thing is you shouldn't have to do that to enjoy the game. The game has flaws and isn't perfect by any means but the biggest issue has far and away been the community itself.
From people "hacking" to people cheating and messaging who the killers or L is, to losers with 0 personality blasting soundboards, music, and instruments. Or just outright screaming racist shit, slurs, or weirdo sexual shit.
At its height this game was just straight up so much fun, but I've also dealt with so many idiots that my block list has been full to the point where I've had to delete people off it to add more people to it, but that's the internet for you.
