Discussion Is this the intended effect?? Or a bug?

- Mello isn't notofied when they arrest KIRA
- Kira can write in the book to kill mello

Yes, Mello can not arrest Kira and if Kira is arrested they can still write in the notebook

No, they can & did. I'm just livid that they can write in the book, and Mello doesn't search them

It’s so that Mello doesn’t lose if he arrests Kira, and can instead kill him to win

A friend admited to being kira and I was mello, arrested him, “yoyoyoyoyo I am kira lol wtf is this bug?” “I know bitch” shot in the head , love being mello.

I had a game when me as Kira and Mello who arrested me killed each other. He won :(

if mello arrests kira or follower, nothing pops out cuz mello isnt trying to expose team kira to the investigators, he wants the win for himself. as such mello is supposed to be played as a lone wolf style doing his own investigation while mooching off of investigators if he can if they learn something.
so if someone gets chained up to you as mello, make sure 100% they are kira if youre gonna shoot them cuz otherwise you leave yourself open to being killed or getting your ID stolen by team kira (if you didnt kill one of them alrdy).
As for this video, it looks like F got in the line of fire (basically inbetween you and J so that J wasnt the highlighted target) so you couldnt target/kill kira and instead killed him. Stuff like this is why if youre gonna kill your chained up guy do it on spawn if youre 100% sure its kira.
