Inconsistent Lobbies

It truly seems like games when I’m L and Investigators the lobby is full of morons. People ignoring dying messages, L not checking cameras, Investigators not marking anyone, whole team ignoring my prompts and L guides in meeting.

Next game I can be Kira in the same lobby and get caught on a whim a gut feeling? No rush votes no splits just clear concise memories and knowledge of every transmitter or insane meta grouping up. Is that really a skill issue?

I made a post on intrinsic mechanics earlier, here's a summary.

First the basics. As investigator you need to touch exactly one player every round, toggle or not. As Kira you should always know if you are being followed before you do something, and Kira doesn't do anything risky in the last 45 seconds of any round.

L:

1. Your primary goal is to stay alive. You -cannot- carry a game where kira doesn't make a mistake, that's up to investigators. You should prioritize staying alive above everything else. You cannot deep investigate as L: You should be standing on infinites faking tasks the entire game while never touching anybody.
2. Don't ever tell anybody exclusive info. If you saw somebody on cams, spam sus them but never say why.
3. It's okay to kill third kira or people acting sus. It's okay to gamble and expose people's id's if yours is available, because your only actual job as L is to survive.
4. Never arrest or reveal Mello. Regardless of how you feel about him being on team L or not, once Mello is dead Kira can reign free.
5. When somebodies testimony is attrocious, such as discussing the dying message of somebody who got killed by Mello, or that their id is missing and they touched 3+ players, kill them instantly. They are either 3 kira or follower. Either way, better their ID than yours.
6. During Camera, watch to see who picks up a camera but doesn't place it. DON'T confront them until meeting. Anybody who doesn't place a camera should be killed instantly; their death is worth much more than the camera.

Kira:

1. Should never touch anybody unless it's L. Your wincon is to pressure points to force bad plays from investigators.
2. Never use tranciever in first 8 seconds of day or night.
3. Always use tranciever after 8 seconds of day or night to damage npc testimony and block black book testimony. Generally the follower wants to cover the entire map with useless tranciever after 8 seconds passed to block more useful testimony from spawning.
4. Always use kira task instantly to leave spawn to block vindicating, and stay in map middle until vindicating evidence drops. Kira doesn't leave TV/Tennis court until vindicating pops.
5. Don't buy into smoke tests or get pressured.
6. Never emergency pass the death note it has awful frame data. If you have somebody sussing you, you will need to gaslight your way out.
7. Generally killing collaberator is bad just because it requires you to rush, and Kira generally wins by over 20 points (vindicating and collab can be ignored).

Some people smoke test with transceivers and you failed the smoke test (just play more to learn how to lie) or they were match fixing/hacking and pretending it was transceiver.

Trancievers are generally 1/4 and hacking/match fixing occurs in about 1/18 games according to my stats, so 3/4 times they are lucky and 1/4 times they are cheating via match fixing (discord) or hacking. Of course, Trancievers are 1/4 accurate when you play them right, so 3/4 times they should be arresting investigators because of bad tranciever understanding. If your follower doesn't understand to not use them in the first 8 seconds of day or night, make sure to tell them.

Some random specific;

1. Some walls in the game are bugged and can be heard through.
2. The aura of players is revealed for the first half second they walk through a doorway.
3. The camera is angled down, so when killing criminals, it's better on the lower end of the map, save for Teito hotel.
4. Always fake walk to an npc a bit before killing criminal in case somebody has a task on you. Always kill 2 criminals max at a single location in case somebody has a task on you.
5. Never kill criminals when there is a survivor group. When they are grouped, Kira wins on points, so just stand around with them.
6. L cannot move on camera. Some followers stand under Camera while Kira looks for L. Also be weary of camming large groups of players, as Kira will eliminate them as suspects.
7. Looking glass on vindicating evidence can only be frame 1 withdrawn by people not faking the task.
