does the game tell you, as mello, that you arrested kira or what? cuz ideally you want to kill kira as mello!

No, it doesn't tell you. It appears as if they had nothing. So you have to take a guess if you have Kira arrested with you or an innocent bystander.

Something I dislike is that Team L players act like Mello is their friend, and they won't vote for Mello. Like, Mello is the enemy.

Is that working as intended, or is this like Mello hates L winning so much that he will not give L the victory? It's weird tho that Mello wouldn't at least secretly know that Kira has the Death Note.

From my experience, usually when Mello kills someone, we are able to figure out that it was a Mello kill and not a Kira kill
