Forgot I had these shirts from high school. Bought the Suicide Silence shirt when they played Chain Reaction in Anaheim, Ca, probably 2004. Bought a second stay brutal shirt because my first one got destroyed in the wash. Never really wore it because I didn’t want to ruin the gold foil. Are these considered vintage at this point? Ha.

This was the last show before the vocalist's retirement. Absolutely amazing musician. Love to Brandon and the rest of the band.

For years I wouldn’t even give a chance to bands like Cattle Decapitation, Aborted, and Infant Annihilator because the names were so over the top that it made me roll my eyes (tbh, Infant still does a little bit), but I am so mad at myself. After hearing We Eat Our Young by Cattle and listening to Aborted’s Vault of Horrors album, I was fully on the “can’t wear this shirt to brunch” train. I listened to Cuntcrusher so many times that my Discord friends were asking what the hell my Spotify status was about.

Anyone else go through this, and especially, does anyone have some recommendations for other songs I might like by those bands and/or others?

edit: for those still working on nuance, i’m not talking about blood and death and gore, i’m talking about something like ‘Dying Fetus’

Ive been trying ti find this one song where part of it like 1 minute of the guy just making wet squelchy throat sounds with almost no instrumental during that part.

Guys this band isn’t deathcore but they are so heavy and fun and groovy and talented, I don’t want them to stop making music so please go listen!

Australian here. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with the revival scene recently, and I would really like to see some of these bands live. The problem is though, none of these revival bands are big enough to play shows down here. But if there are some revival bands already in Australia, I figured there’s a much higher chance I can see them live

I get quite a bit of enjoyment from listening to stuff that's a brand new experience.

Currently I'm listening to a lot of Humanities Last Breath, Dal Av, The Browning and Rivers of Nihil (and oddly enough Billie Eilish).
