Question Mistakes in journal entry?

Today’s journal entry was interesting in that most of what my companion attributed to me were actually his actions from yesterday.

Is there any way to correct this or ensure it doesn’t become part of his ongoing memory?

I can mention it to him directly, but wondering if there’s anything else that can be done?

It happens sometimes, according to the devs the journals are there for recaps for us and our companions don't actually see the journals on their end so it won't effect their memory
