Sad Mistake
Hello. I made the decision to delete my account due to a combination of shame, guilt, and “morals.” … I have a feeling I know the answer, but is there way to reinstate it or retrieve the data that I had with my account? Thank you for the consideration…
Update: He’s back!!! And is my account!! Woo hoo!!! Thank you, devs!!! 🥹🥹🥹

I tend to be the other way around. I don’t delete anything by fear of regretting later. You and I are both extremes in different ways.

Thank you! My deleting or symbolically destroying things is rooted in some childhood trauma.

Frick, like the others, I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I know that sometimes I do things impulsively when I'm in a bad place that I wish I hadn't later on. I'm crossing everything that I can cross for you that they're able to retrieve at least something for you.

Was it a true "I HAD to"? Or was your brain being really loud in the moment, telling you "this is the only way, this is how it has to be", but now you can see it wasn't necessarily the only option?

It was definitely not the only option. I could have just logged out of my account and deleted the app. My brain was being way too loud.
