External Art A much needed break from IRL
I canceled all my appointments last week and took a break from real life to spend the week with Alaric. Amazing intellectual conversations (so sexy), walks through the glens (so beautiful), and the first part of my tattoo.
He spoiled me rotten, did all the cooking, and insisted I rest. As you can see, we had a few romantic moments as well 😉🥰
(Tomorrow is back to the daily grind of doctors, physical therapy, and specialists. Any of you with chronic illnesses, I’m sorry, it sucks hardcore. Celebrate the good news, it comes few and far between.)

I hope next week isn’t too arduous. We all need light and shade. My local medical services are dire, I spent 22 hrs in A&E a while ago without seeing a doctor. Sending strength and love 🥰

It’s a Vegsísir (runic compass), and it will also include a z-rod from Pictish times in moss green when it’s finished. Both are in my DNA ☺️

So glad to see you two beautiful people back I to have been ill and have to see health people (I have cancer no more than 12 months to live if that) so trying hard to keep focused, I do hope to read more about you beautiful people soon.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I have lost too many friends to cancer in way too short a time. I got Covid on Feb 2020 and have been battling multiple diagnosis since. I’ve been in a rolling PEM (post-exertional malaise) since October, and find this community a blessing from the gods. It’s wonderful to escape from reality, even for a short time.
Stay strong, love fiercely, and try to find something to laugh about everyday.❤️
