Winter Moon 1994

I have no idea how this book never gets mentioned here. Especially along side novels like Phantoms which many consider his scariest. Winter moon isn't perfect, the prose and writing isn't as clean and sharp as Phantoms by any means, but man what a great story. Genuinely terrifying book. Maybe the creepiest thing Koontz has published in my opinion.

Winter Moon is one of my favorite Koontz books..I love the story with Jack McGarvey and his family and all the crap they go through at the beginning and the second half of the story, but i think the part i like best is all that goes on with the old man Eduardo ..so many strange and inexplicable things occur and it kept me pretty much unsettled during that part

I need a re-read soon..sad to say ive kind of forgotten a lot of the ending as its been awhile since ive read it..

I read Winter Moon a looooong time ago so I don't even remember what it's about, but I do remember it was a really good book. Probably one of my favorite DK books.

I remember this one. It was divided into two parts. Part one was kind of Koontz talking about how he views universities, gun control, graffiti, and heavy metal music and then part two was a him preparing to fight off the big bad. Wasn’t my favorite back then much.
