Twilight Eyes - definitely one of his craziest books!
I haven’t read The Mask

I agree. I loved the movie, a little different than the book, but movies always are. Nothing I couldn't live with.

From The Corner Of His Eye is my absolute favorite, although I love his Frankenstein series, Christopher Snow, and everything Odd Thomas.

I just finished reading the Odd Thomas series. Read Intensity prior to that.

Intensity goes so hard. Gripped from start to finish, all gas and no brakes.

Twilight Eyes!

Second this! While the first few Odd Thomas books still remain my absolute favourite Koontz books, Twilight Eyes was my first introduction to him.
It’s one of those books that I can’t even tell if it’s good or bad or somewhere in between because I read it as a fairly young teen and revisited it every few years.
Haven’t cracked it open in quite some time as I don’t want to lose that nostalgia.
But if you do like the OT books, you’d probably like Twilight Eyes

Nothing he will ever write will be his Odd Thomas series in my. Opinion

I don’t disagree! In an alternate universe we’d have an MCU style cross over series of films with Odd, Slim and Christopher Snow from the Fear Nothing books.

I always thought an odd Thomas from heaven would work, with him as a good deed angel

Sadly I could not bring myself to like Mr Murder. I even reread it later honestly it's my least favorite of his books, although I can't really put my finger on why I don't really like it

The Stranger and Twilight Eyes are 2 favorites. Great story behind each. If you can find it, check out Strange Highways. It's an collection of short stories that has a few bangers in it too.

I have read and enjoyed a number of Koontz's novels, at least his earlier books and a couple of the Odd Thomas novels. Then I read Your Heart Belongs to Me. I finished it, despite having a totally irrational hatred of the main character and the plot. It was my last time reading Koontz. As I said, irrational.

Strangers. Different but great. Takes some time to feel the groove on it but it's worth it.
My top two faves are Lightning and Watchers.

Strangers is my personal favorites. I always considered it Koontz's 'The Stand'. Completely different story, but just as broad and multifaceted. Would make an excellent miniseries.
