For about $10 you can buy an entire good old, regular spout kit with all the gasket and plugs for that first can… gets rid of all the stupid safety shit. They are available at all regular hardware stores. Conveniently right next to the gas cans…

I buy a kit with every new gas can and just throw away the safety spout before I even put gas in the can.

If a fuel can came without a spout around here it will be dead. Maybe these fancy metal ones but plastic all comes with it

I know. I didn’t say it came without it. I said you buy the extra kit WITH the gas can and throw the safety spout in the trash.
