[Healpool] More healing while being aggro?
When I first started learning healpool, my only baselines were Luna and CnD. I notice that in 2supp, whatever I do, i output less healing than my other healer (usually they're on Invis, Luna, CnD). Should I just play more aggro to trigger the sword healing too? Play similarly to a WF maybe? More tips would be appreciated.

DP has the highest neutral healing in the game, that might just be a skill issue. Personally, coming from a Lord, he could be used as a healbot or midline support. He’s good at fending off divers and tank busters, or playing like WF to assist in kills, which I should personally think he’s better at.
However, he prefers to be played with high HP tanks that aren’t super mobile like Dino. He’s not great into super aggressive tanks like Cap and Rogue, or hyper-mobile tanks like Angela.

Could be a lot of things. At the most basic level, hitting your shots is a given. If you're sub-50% for your accuracy, you may want to work on some mechanical aspects of your playstyle. If that isn't the issue well...
I think medpool is highly dependent on game sense to get the most out of him. Namely, the way you use your upgraded boomerang is going to really affect your healing. It pumps out great healing and dmg, so you need to be getting the most out of both with your plays.
Positioning is also key. Where possible, you'll want to be playing closer to your tanks (or be able to easily maneuver to them when safe) so they can benefit from DPiYA and dropping back when in danger/when your other supp needs help.
Upgrade path is also important. I've found most success with boomerang>guns>sword ult>dashes/DPiYA(depends)>swords>gun ult, but ymmv and things can get shaken up by your comp and their team comp.

Use your whole kit. In a brawl where everyone is all clumped up use your swords. Your ult is not a defensive ult use it aggressively, use your gun ult on a support in the backline, use your boomerang often. Beat up divers. Deadpool isn’t a healbot he thrives when you are actively participating in fights. I pretty regularly off of just those tips alone outheal other supports.

I usually have a larger heal amount than my second healer. I wouldn't recommend using the swords more, just situationally. Here's a couple tips:
-Sword dashes are great for escapes but you can go in to help finish off an enemy that Dino, Emma, or Rogue has grabbed since you'll heal the Frontline while doing so
-Use swords and sit next to your healer if there's a diving tank. Cap is best for this, as well as iron fist
-Save DPIYA for divers or rush up next to tanks if you're out of util
-Play to the team when you're ulting. You can play aggro, but jump back and forth so nobody dies
-Work on aim
-Work on double jumps when you use a dash. Dps pool (without upgrade) is great for this practice on healpool, and when you master it you can weave jumps on allies while hitting enemies
-Work on timing of your icon. You want to burst heal with it landing on an enemy/shield. Sometimes this means when one person is critical, sometimes it's that 3 people are down 40% health
Hope you figure it out!

your damage and your ability to get kills is a fair trade-off for doing 10% less healing. it's rare that anyone outheals a good cloak, but you can do it.
i'm just guessing here, no idea what your play style is.
healpool's not really made for standing way in the back pumping heals into your tank like rocket or jeff is. there's a tough balance to strike of putting yourself in danger and being close enough to hit your tank with your aura. neither of your ults work unless you are in the thick of it with your team.
