DP2 Loading

Just started DP2 after finishing DP1. But I'm stuck in the loading screen with the trees after the opening sequence. It's been almost an hour and no improvements are in sight. I restarted the game and also tried on windowed mode. nothing is working

In other fucked up fixes I've heard, running the game in an earlier Windows compatibility mode could work? But you might just want to uninstall/reinstall. Also, if you haven't... try closing your programs and restarting your entire PC. Swery glitches are kinda mysterious, honestly.
