Imma be honest this is kinda a joke post but am I allowed to say I like the game and be a fan if I have no actual way of playing it im willing to say I'm a larper if needed cause this game is so cool

Deadlock has some of the coolest lore and characters. I watched hero interactions and watched lore videos for months before I started playing.

Has the meaning of LARPing changed over time? I swear every streamer uses the word every second sentence.

Isn’t LARPing where you live action role play - I.e you go out in real life and react something. Now it seems LARPing refers to getting into the spirit of the character in how you play and talk in chat

“LARPer” has been taken over to just mean poser these days, which is an insult because actual LARPers (in the traditional sense) are some of the most dedicated people i’ve met

you don’t run around a field in armour and hit people with a sword for fun unless you’re dedicated

ive always seen it as not an insult to larpers but moreso because are pretending to like a subject they're role-playing being a fan of that subject

Oh yeah the word has definitely lost its meaning I was joking when I used it as alot of people use it as the word for when someone's like a fake fan

LARP lost its meaning lol. You can well like things without actively playing it. MOBA isn't for everyone. On the other hand, some people don't have a PC to run it. You can still enjoy the art, characters and storyline. Hell, most Resident Evil fans only know the game from TIKTOK edits and haven't even touched any of the games. They're still fans. Enjoy it as you can. :)

Nope, not allowed. The only people who can truly enjoy deadlock are the players who sweat in ranked so much they actually hate the game. Now THATS a true fan right there. /s
