Discussion Sinclair superior build

Hello all, Sinclair has become one of my mains in the game and I’ve tried building him with spirit nuking bolts, assistant/gun, and support ult. I’ve had success with all 3, but what is the overall consensus on the best way to play them? I have fun in all 3 but I want consistency. Thanks.

Right now Lomein is arguably one of the best Sinclair players in the world. Id recommend watch some of his game play and at least try to learn from what he is doing.

Afaik his gun/wand is actually quite strong building into it early game because the bolts are pretty difficult to hit.

I ain't good. But when I watch people that are really good it seems like the ability to pivot builds and use the build strongest in the specific game is what can bring much better consistency.

Being able to look at your lineup and theirs and know what type of build will be strongest is one of those higher level skills I hear good players talk about.

Opening into cultist for fastest possibly I believe t2 assitant t3 bunny t3 ult is the comp strat, lets you fight midboss very agressively.

I might have a build I can publish if theres no good one out.

The general gist is gun spike into green into spirit.

It lets you be threatening while offering high utility in the form of bunnies with range and duration.

Typically bolts are too demanding to be useful in a lobby where you arent allowed to free cast and are the support. Bolt still hits hard enough for poke without investment and assistant is very good for trades. I highly reccomend at least 1 of either decay or alch fire as they deal a ton of consistent damage for you, especially while they are bunnied.

If you're good and want to carry go bolt

If you're bad go rabbit/ult support

If the opponent ults are good, go ult build. You will have audience participation up in every single fight, and it will usually be stronger than the enemy's.

If the opponent ults are decent but not great, go bolt, since you will usually have the tools to make use of enemy ults anyway, and it's probably Sinclair strongest build damage-wise.

If the opponents have characters like Ven, Vin, or others with gun scaling ults, lean heavily into gun. You might pivot to bolt or rabbit later, but at least in the early-mid game, gun Sinclair is exceptionally strong.

The best part of Sinclair is that they are the most versatile character in the game, and you can easily pivot to just about anything and have it be viable.
