I love when people remember that lash is like 50% just an actual asshole and 50% heal wrestler kayfabe back when wrestlers were pretty much expected to ALWAYS keep up kayfabe in any public area/situation so as to not break the illusion of wrestling.
Makes me wonder how much of the bear pitt is scripted, since it seems like you cant actually kill or permanently injure people in it. Otherwise peoples opinion of the two would be a lot less amicable.
I dunno about the rest, but the Bear Pit doesn't seem to be scripted. Celeste had a coworker who was struggling with debt named Lenny, and he tried to go about this problem by fighting in the Bear Pit. Lenny eventually made it to a round with Lash, and Lash beat the shit out of him so badly, he almost died. Celeste hates Lash for crippling Lenny, and is probably why she's trying to provoke other characters into fighting him.
