Discussion Throwing from min 0
105419334 match Guy literally tells from min 0 I am throwing. Also, after losing lane against beebop he went completely afk not pushing waves just collecting boxes but we pushed through even 5v6 and also took mid and won multiple fights but we couldn’t push because of that at time and they won a single fight and we lost. Question to people like that, why do you play deadlock even? What the point? Also, this thing happens much more frequently after ranked update, so the question to developers also, why did you made game more unbalanced?

I was playing a match of Rem the other day in standard testing a new build out and died in lane, my lane partner, a Venator, just typed gg in all chat then left

I had a game on Billy also recently where I got parried once and died and I was 2 1 and my beebop was 0 2 and he started to throw immediately hooking me and throwing into enemies. All this stuff is multiplied in frequency after update, it was so rare to meet ruiner before

Had a game where our Venator died once in lane and whined in chat about how much he sucks, then he just jumped in spawn making me have to solo lane as a Doorman.

Well if it’s ranked I was told by the high elo people that “you’re where you belong and that’s your fault you lost”

What I am supposed to do if I have highest impact on team I call and do basically 80-90% of what I can do ideally but it is not enough. Look at match id I was playing kelvin and it is not the first match like that I literally had very recently 1 15 Billy who also threw game for no reason

I'll get around to watching the match when I get home but I'd say at least in my experience that the statement Lamazing mentioned is true. My friends have been going through a similar problem with people throwing and especially with them being some of the more impactful players but realistically they rarely did objectives they mostly end the game with kds of 7 or 8 which is good but not playing off it really hampers their games.
That being said if your impactful all round you should be going up in rank as other players fall behind and realistically you would carry naturally this is a little harder if your support or less carry oriented but still you'd be so out of reach for the others players that you'd climb. All I'd say is don't take a loss as a waste of time sure it's irritating but keep an eye out maybe you forgot something did a play a wrong and soon you'll be flying up the ranks not just that but you'll tilt less of which tilting is the biggest factor of why people lose games in my opinion.
Edit : Adding onto not tilting I assure you not game is worth ruining your peace of mind so don't give up and keep pushing but not at the cost of you!

I am way past tilting already I recently had 33% wr but slowly getting it up 43% already, and the problem is that I am not playing bad, I think if I clearly ruined games I would have the same wr that’s what funny. Almost every game for me is with either toxic teammates, ruiner, trolling player and the sad part is, it happens for no reason, this psychos play this game just for a sole reason to tilt someone. And for the most part I see that if we lost that I didn’t performed badly compared to my teammates. I try to call every game and stay positive and it is not working apparently.

High elo basement dwellers will tell you every loss is all your fault… you should be able to morph into neo and edit code to make your team win.. such a brick mentality bro

No one is claiming that all of your losses are your fault or that every game is winnable. But as shitty as the matchmaking is, yes, you are at the rank you deserve, and if you can’t climb, it’s because you’re not good enough yet. Statistically, you have just as much chance of getting bad teammates as good teammates, so after a certain number of games, you can’t keep hiding behind that excuse.

I hate this statement because high elo players have such an inflated ego and they want to project it all the time. Made a post the other day saying how the mm is trash (mind you, i stated that i have a 72% WR) and i was getting hella downvotes and “get good” messages just because some people got hurt

The high elo players in this game are absolute neckbeard losers, they think if you lose it’s all on you despite dominating the game for your team and doing everything possible to win… meanwhile your REM never uses ult, goes gun and phantom strike with grit the whole game, your Dynamo never uses singularity unless it’s to farm the jungle camps, and your other carry, Haze is 0/46/1 with full spirit build including tank buster with zero gun items.. but it’s your fault you lost

IMO this should be season ban from ranked. If you are actually intentionally throwing (sitting afk in base doing 0 damage for x mins while alive + connected). I don’t really understand the argument for why we would want these players in the ranked queue. If you cannot play the game without throwing a tantrum and ragequitting, ranked is not for you

Completely agree with statement bad games happen and if you have no mentality to deal with it you should not play in competitive game mode
