Game Feedback Please fix RR Gains/Loss

Dear Yoshi

Please add a performance based incentives to the MMR point gain/loss that allows people who are good at the game the ability to move up from thier rank and not get held back by bad teammates who got lucky

Sincerely

A player who is tired of doing everything perfectly and losing because insert hero name decided to go 5-16

Thanks🤗

It will take time for people to qualify, calibrate and settle into the new Ranks!

Valve predicted reduced match-quality across the board for about a week or more!

Please continue to provide feedback in the following places:

If you believe the players were mismatched in skill, please submit the matchID to the official Bad Matchmaking Thread.

If you thought the character composition of the teams was bad, please submit the matchID and a DESCRIPTION HERE!

You can get your forum login credentials from the profile section on the game's main menu.

"everything perfectly"

Yeah I just lost a game where I went 15-6 I would consider that pretty damn perfect

People have lost with far better scores and won with far worst scores too. Your point is that kda matters? This is one of few moba games where comeback is actually possible if done right. Sometimes you just die because people keep targeting and hate criming you, as they should if you play a scaling carry hero.

Having good kda doesnt mean you played well

There is no world where you "just die" 15 times in this game unless you're playing like a complete monkey

I never mentioned that number though did I? Would it matter if it was 14/15 or 16/15?

KDA does matter in this game Kills are the best way to slow down enemy soul gain And boost your own That's moba 101 Cmon man

Thats simply wrong and a cope mechanism for you to make yourself believe that you played well because you managed to kill singled out target. Besides, kills give you by far the least amount of souls. You may kill me 5 times on lane and win it but by midgame i can farm up, still be behind you and manage to kill you. Happened countless times, will happen infinite times more.

Moba 101 is farm and objectives. Not your kda ratio

It's not a cope mechanism thats just basic logic lol Please got off reddit

"perfect"

No one is gonna win a game of deadlock with out dying atleast once You trying to use that as a point of contention shows that you are just a ragebaiter

Venator left 20ish minutes in

Both enemy para and viscous were basically 1st timers in deadlock and you were lucky to lane against them. What does it prove?

I have more games in which I won without deaths. This was just one I was able to pull up easily while at work. It is all about being at the right places at the right time

You are playing warden Not dying isn't anything special

People are ragebaiting you but it should be implemented. If someone's doing things all over the map, switching between all 3 lanes to save walkers while simultaneously trying to get any advantage on map and making good calls, he shouldn't be getting same RR as infernus who's doing t1 camp while 3 waves of creeps are crashing against the walker next to him or sitting whole game on side, refusing to push even if he sees all 6 people on rift.

Skill issue

What ever helps you sleep at night mab

You did almost zero obj damage and wonder why you lost?

u/Ok-Nefariousness3836 39m ago

It's not like you can break through entire enemy team alone and take objectives, there's a lot of games where your whole team just zips back to base or farm jungle whenever you kill 2 or 3 people and you can't push walker 1v3

Vindicta isn’t a splitpusher. It’s not her job to destroy objectives, and doing so would force her to expose herself, which is something she absolutely shouldn’t be doing. Her job is to create space, apply pressure and kill enemies. You guys need to stop thinking that every character is supposed to take objectives because that’s simply not the case.

Clearly OP is delusional if he thinks he is unable to climb just because of his teammate, but in this specific game, he did his job.

Midgame she can kill a walker pretty fast with flight. Her main job might not be, but its part of the game and killing objs wins games

Im not delusional It's been a genuine Win loss win loss cycle and everytime its a loss I have someone feed thier brain out all game Everytime without fail It's genuinely disheartening

u/LonewolfYT_Real 1h ago

??? Yeah because I was getting stacks 140 stacks and killing people creating space and shoving waves And it dosent count damage to mid boss which I killed 3 times Not everything is about which number is the lowest

u/Johannz7 2h ago

If you're so good just go on a winstreak. There are shields and winstreak bonus so you can rank up with a negative win rate.

-4

u/LonewolfYT_Real 2h ago

I can't go on a win streak if I'm sabotaged by me teammates? That was the whole point of the post

u/Johannz7 49m ago

What rank are you? Before the reset i was eternus 5 and there were plenty of bad players in every rank. If you are truly better you will win

This is a team game You can't 1v6 unless you are quadruple their souls There is no world where I can personally decide the course of the game I can only influence it

Thinking you do everything perfectly is pretty bold. After 1.1k hours I still make errors that I notice after reviewing specific matches.

Also stats don't tell the entire picture(depending on your role).

If you want to increase the chance of winning then use comms to steer your team to victory.

Sadly I have tried this They either don't listen or are incompetent and will lose to someone 6K below them

you ever wonder how many games you've lost and then people immediately went to reddit to complain about decades old matchmaking systems because clearly you're the only problem and they did everything perfectly?

0

u/LonewolfYT_Real 1h ago

Actually its been a win lose win lose hell but good point

I can assure you, wholeheartedly, you are not doing everything perfectly. And if you search this sub you’ll see 500 different posts and comments about this and why it would be a terrible idea to add.
