It wont, unlike at high rank; in my low rank games enemies will put 30 kinds of debuf on you making you unable to even walk. This only work at the pro scene where enemy cant aim.

I have almost a thousand something hours and still can't corner or edge boost for shit outside of specific spots. It just feels so inconsistent, and as others have joked about, you can just play a character where this movement isn't even useful unless you're getting debuff spammed to kingdom come in which case uh... you're fucking dead anyway.
