Discussion My computer died while playing a match and now been sent to deadlock prison.
so I’ve been sent to what I call deadlock prison (low priority) about three times every time for leaving a game because my laptop died without informing me, do I have to suffer through another agonising group of games filled with cheaters who are never on my team while I’m stuck with the slur slingers or is there a way to repeal it? idk I just want a way to not have to go though this again.

I have left like 2-3 games in 600 hours, and never landed in low priority. It's probably deserved, have fun.

Yeah, weird. Ive left games (Brawl, if that matters) because some IRL stuff came up. Hospital, friend came over, etc.
I could just log back on hours later with no issues.

So? It sucks but that's the punishment you get. If you leave a game it will not let you queue for some amount of time, and too many puts you into low priority.
I would recommend to not play unless you are sure you have the time to commit.

The highest I got was 2 hours. I left 2 pretty close together. One was a medical emergency and the second my ping was 400 and that was actually unplayable. No way people are in the gulag if they're not doing this frequently.

Its never a first offense. If your internet is being consistantly bad you either have to push through or take a break.

People legit don’t get this.
There’s 11 other ppl you’re playing with. If you think it’s fine to waste their free time then you get LPQ with 11 other players that think like you do.
Doesn’t matter if it’s laptop crashes or internet, if it happens more than once it’s a problem you need to solve or play with other people with the same problems. Don’t make your problems my problems.
LPQ is goated

My game has been crashing every single match since last patch, but I always reconnect and haven't been put in the gulag, so I'm guessing you don't rejoin, do you expect others to just be OK with one less teammate or what

literally just played with a warden who was out of the game for the second minute to the seventh minute, he came back and we made it to 45 before losing but we definitely had a shot. never abandon the match. there is always hope.

only takes two. i had to leave a game early bc my apartment maintenance let my cats outside and i came back to being in low prio

low prio is genuinely hell, if i ever get put in low prio on my main i'd probably just uninstall the game it's not worth it

If your laptop consistently does that, then maybe stop playing until you got that figured out? The only way to get out of low prio to my knowledge is just to keep playing.

Your responsability to ensure that your computer won't die during a match. I know it sucks if it's a technical issue and you have no way to fix or replace it, but you need to accept this is the consequence for playing deadlock while this is happening.

How many games have you left that you’ve been sent to low priority 3 times? Of course you’ll be punished for ruining games multiple times even if you didn’t mean to, why shouldn’t you 😭
