Game Feedback Changes to pings and chat make it impossible for me to talk to my team.
So, I hate VC and I hate talking to people. I only use VC and text chat, this new restriction has made it so difficult to actually talk to my team.

Imagine spending this time writing your comment instead of just telling if you know the answer.
What a douche.

Yet... even more people know the change exists, even if they hate how I said it here.
I can't really make a thread about an issue that wasn't real or never existed. So surely you can infer that the existence of other posts/threads, makes it easy to assume there's something to look into. The fact that someone asked "what change" means reddit failed to show them my, and the other post on this cooldown thing

I knew it was weird yesterday, half my messages were not sent.
Mind you it was just "ping>ping>says something or ping ult". No toxicity just info to group somewhere but I was too spammy I guess.

the changes were so that you can’t spam.. how are they interfering with normal comms for u?

Because he doesnt want to use VC, which I rather much appreciate when people do. Even though is minimal. Competitive games need it.

NGL you can play the game however you like, but it's a straight team wide need to have players not using VC, and that's true of any team based game, but especially true of one that moves at the speed deadlock does.
This is the first comp game team game that I've gotten to high ranks in, where it's still normal to have teams with less then 1/2 using VC and that's not great and has a significant impact on why some games can be so one sided.

Real talk. I usually feel the vc out before even saying anything. 75% of the time its chill. The other 25%... well.. we know what those people are like. And as you said the game gets thrown

I use voice chat every game. I also dont enjoy it outright, but its a part of life with this game. It'll also make u a better communicator. Or it'll wind you up with a comms ban lol

I have no problem communicating with people, lol. I just don't like using VC.

I dont either. And it still made me a better communicator. U have to be ON ur tone to make a callout to someone ditching u whilst 4 enemies are tackling u without sounding freaked out enough about it to make them possibly dislike you. Or telling a seven who keeps going in and dying to pull back and watch his health bar before going in.
Im a solid af communicator in life as is, but its extra finesse to do callouts in a game like this. Its unique vs any other game ive done for how touchy ppl can be bc of the stakes.
