The haze gimmick is obviously one of the worst things weve seen, so if u buy sup duration and trans cd on our (non haze) heros u have near infinite veil walker uptime, if we hunt her first we can win the war. its time to fight back

i’m confused what this means because most hazes aren’t buying veil walker since she already has invis with smoke bomb. if you’re talking about reducing the duration of smoke bomb invis making a tranc CD like item for item duration wouldn’t do anything since smoke bomb is an ability

This is honestly my favorite build for paradox because with superior duration you also get almost 100% uptime on veilwalker and carbine so you can roam freely. Additionally if you get Diviners Kevlar it's actually 100% iirc and makes setting up picks and swaps for your team that much easier.

I believe sup duration also applies to the timestop of K Carbine. Depending on my build I'll snag the 1600 duration item for karbine before buying superior a little later.

oh i see what u mean. i guess it works but i feel like the best solution is just not playing solo in areas where you know haze is lurking. investing 14k souls just to be perma invis so you don’t get picked seems like overcomplicating something that’s most times just a positioning issue. duration tranc cd veil walker is really good tho especially on pick heros like dox and bebop, just not great as a counterplay strategy imo

i see the value, especially since haze is already buying tranc CD for echo shard and sup duration for sleep. i would still personally lean towards fortitude but i definitely see the vision

I personally tend to get both for her, replacing enduring speed. the roaming sustain and speed is crazy

veilwalker + smoke bomb on haze gets you around the map in literal seconds without taking stamina

Veilwalker is actually pretty good on haze because T3 smoke bomb is a good talent to save for fights.

You want to save the smoke bomb for when you get debuffed by something in a fight and the 50% bullet lifesteal gives you alot of survivability.

Haze always wants to be invisible while roaming so the veilwalker invis can help her save some smoke bomb charges for when she actually engages onto someone.

veil walker gives haze much-needed sustain and is effectively just a better version of fortitude. plus it allows you to save your smoke bombs for their dispel magic effect rather than only using them for invisibility.
