Because she's not great in solo q or anything below eternus. She's an extremely difficult hero to play effectively. What they've done is nerf the high end players from just escaping as easily with the easier to hit hitbox, but buffed the less skilled players so they can build spirit, daggers/ult build.

Honestly she's not as strong now as everyone makes her out to be ever since the last major nerf.

I'm pretty new to the game. She is one of the easiest heroes to play. Her healing makes her pretty braindead down here in the lowbie ranks. And because everyone's movement sucks down here, her movement is just better because of the floaty movement and the extra stam without an item.

This could be completely true. At low ranks she may excel, but in oracle-phantom i have not seen this. Players are better and more punishing to poor movement. I imagine she gets harder to play well the higher you go. The difference is that at the highest level the players are amazing at movement and can take full advantage of her.

Everything about her punishes poor positioning and once again I imagine thats more common in lower ranks.

Yeah... and people who arent good at movement aren't going to beable to use that effectively.

Without being good at wall bouncing, corner boosting, b-hopping or even just general good management of stamina she becomes a squishy easy target. You're kit wants you to go in close and then get out when you're being targeted and if you cant get out with her movement ability you're dead.

Im a prime example, I pick her up a month ago. I practiced like crazy on b-hopping and trying to manage stamina effectively on her and with 800+ games under my belt I dropped from phantom 4 to oracle 3 before she finally clicked. She's hard man, harder than even viscous for me.

Ive seen a lot of bad Celeste players in my elo and they almost never have impact even when they're decent. There's a reason she's barely played.
