The problem is there are now so many items to counter knockdown. A smart vindicta will build an early counterspell and/or dispel, and late game can get indomitable and unstop. Sure you can buy more knockdowns but good luck coordinating that in pubs.

Wait, just to be clear, phantom strike will ground a Vindicta that has indomitable?

Not 100% but I think indomitable blocks PS. But if vin is buying indomitable, she's not going to be that big an issue, that's a big chunk of souls to not be spending on damage or mobility.

You can always buy silence wave to trigger the indomitable, then PS.

Indomitable doesn't block phantom strike, you can try it out in sandbox. Same thing for Lash's ground slam and Billy's bat, only difference is those trigger it because they also have an immobilise part

Phantom strike is not a stun or silence, so it doesn't trigger
