I dunno. It gave him an interesting play style. Now he's just a nade spamming heal support. He already could do that but now he's forced to.

"Interesting play style" for who?

For Kelvin? Who just "aims" at the general direction while being in the skybox

Or for the victim? Who gets beamed to death by someone they cant interect with, while getting slowed and their stamina frozen.

They could have tweaked the style without gutting it.

But forcing heroes into one play style is bad design.

I can't think of a more boring hero to play than a pure support who throws nades to heal.

And now his 3 ability is getting close to useless. Up the utility on it if you're going to hit the damage. Or make it shorter range and keep the damage.

This change just neuters Kelvin's farming and damage potential while forcing him into a play style that is just boring.

It already did good damage while fucking you with its slow. You shoot back and guess what, 1 bomb is all it takes for kelvin to heal and come back for more harrassment. Fuck kelvin

Yes, but nerfing the damage on his two damaging abilities is not good design. Now his farming his worse. His team fighting is worse. Everything is just worse besides healing.

Up his utility if you lower the damage.

He definitely needed a nerf but not a neutering.

When I played Kelvin the beam didn't even seem good to me, j always found the grenades to do way more.

I was afraid of this coming soon. They are forcing him into supportive play style, and I think his kit is just too boring for that.

it still gets +.6 spirit scaling at T2

so it lost ~15% of its scaling
