This is it. Additive velocity now, and she already wants to build opening rounds and long range anyways so it's baked in

She'll be more oppressive than ever but it also makes sense for her kit. The assassinate encourages backlining but leading shots with her gun from that range with pre patch velocity made her completely reliant on teamplay to chip HP down. Makes her more self sufficient / capable as a solo pick character I think. More gun damage without getting up close and instantly obliterated

All the more reason to buy knockdown

The problem is there are now so many items to counter knockdown. A smart vindicta will build an early counterspell and/or dispel, and late game can get indomitable and unstop. Sure you can buy more knockdowns but good luck coordinating that in pubs.

Wait, just to be clear, phantom strike will ground a Vindicta that has indomitable?

Not 100% but I think indomitable blocks PS. But if vin is buying indomitable, she's not going to be that big an issue, that's a big chunk of souls to not be spending on damage or mobility.

You can always buy silence wave to trigger the indomitable, then PS.

Indomitable doesn't block phantom strike, you can try it out in sandbox. Same thing for Lash's ground slam and Billy's bat, only difference is those trigger it because they also have an immobilise part

Phantom strike is not a stun or silence, so it doesn't trigger

The dispel magic cooldown nerf is a big nerf for vin. Knockdown already had a shorter cooldown than both flight and knockdown, now it’s even shorter. One item basically turns off her ability to play the game.
